1. About the service
Kinoon.fi exists to help you plan your movie night in as little time as possible, and to bring moviegoers and cinemas closer together.
To do that, Kinoon.fi brings together cinema showtimes and films from third-party sources, along with film information such as posters, summaries and ratings from third-party film databases. It is independent and not affiliated with any third party.
2. No warranty
Showtimes, prices, availability, and film information come from third parties and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. The site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. Always confirm details with the cinema before relying on them, for example before travelling to a screening.
3. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of, or reliance on, the site or its data. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under mandatory Finnish law.
4. Third-party links and content
Ticket purchases and other external pages take place on third-party websites under their own terms and privacy policies. Posters, trailers, and film details belong to their respective owners and are shown for information only.
5. Acceptable use
Please do not disrupt the site, attempt unauthorised access, or systematically scrape or republish its data.
6. Intellectual property
The site's own design and code belong to the operator. Third-party content remains the property of its owners.
7. Changes and governing law
These terms may change, and continued use means you accept the current version. Finnish law applies.
8. Sources and credits
Cinema showtimes are gathered from third-party sources. Film information, posters, trailers and user ratings are provided by The Movie Database (TMDB). This service uses TMDB and the TMDB APIs but is not endorsed, certified, or otherwise approved by TMDB. Film identifiers are matched via the OMDb API (licensed CC BY-NC 4.0). Trailers play via YouTube, and the service uses YouTube API Services.
Some film summaries are AI-assisted adaptations based on third-party sources, so small details may be off — double-check anything important with the cinema.
